Videos on Facebook are one of the fastest growing trends in social media. If you aren’t a big fan of doing videos or haven’t tried videos yet, that’s okay. You can still use this type of post to your advantage for more engagement on your page.
If you don’t want to do your own video, there is a simple way to still benefit from this trend: share somebody else’s video. Look for videos that have a high number of views, then write a quick caption, and then just sit back and watch your engagement go up.
Tips for First Time Videos
- Keep it short. Under 5 minutes is best.
- Tell audience what you are going to talk about within the first 30 seconds.
- Speak about one big idea or thought; don’t ramble.
- Have a “call to action” at the end of the video where you invite your viewers to do something.
